Recently, our complete set of cassava processing equipment—specifically designed for cassava processing—has finished installation, commissioning, and officially entered operation in Laos. This cooperation marks a key step for our technical services to expand globally, and more importantly, it will solve the long-standing challenges of low processing efficiency and unstable quality in Laos’ cassava industry. By doing so, we help the local area turn its abundant cassava resources into tangible economic value.

A Solution to Laos’ Cassava Processing Pain Points

In Laos, cassava is a vital cash crop, but it has long been troubled by “processing difficulties.” Traditional manual processing is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive but also often leads to poor subsequent processing quality due to incomplete cleaning and uneven slicing.
Our newly launched complete cassava processing equipment is tailored to address these issues. It covers the entire processing chain—from cassava cleaning, peeling, and slicing to conveying—with seamless connection between each link. From the input of fresh cassava to the output of qualified slices, the whole process is efficient and smooth: it can handle 6-8 tons of raw materials per hour, equivalent to the daily workload of dozens of workers. This significantly cuts down labor costs for local enterprises.

Core Equipment: Reliable, Efficient, and User-Friendly

The core of this set—the cassava slicing equipment—has won high praise from local partners. It adopts disc cutting technology, which easily cuts cassava into uniform thin slices. What’s more, the slice thickness can be flexibly adjusted according to needs, making it suitable for both starch processing and feed production.
The equipment’s blades undergo special treatment, ensuring they are sharp and durable. Even with long-term use, they rarely wear out, avoiding the hassle of frequent accessory replacement. Meanwhile, the machine’s design prioritizes both safety and ease of operation: after simple training, workers (even those with little experience in agricultural processing) can operate it safely and skillfully.

Practical Supporting Devices for Smooth Operations

Beyond the slicing equipment, other components in the system are equally practical:
    • Cleaning & Peeling Device: Equipped with a special roller structure, it quickly removes sand, impurities, and rough skin from fresh cassava. This ensures the cassava entering the slicing stage is clean and pollution-free, laying a solid foundation for high processing quality.
    • Conveying Equipment: It enables stable transfer of cassava between different processing links, reducing losses that often occur during manual handling and making the entire production process smoother and more worry-free.

Adapted to Local Conditions, Easy to Maintain

Considering Laos’ local production environment, this equipment has low requirements for installation: it can fit in ordinary standard workshops. Daily maintenance is also simple—cleaning and basic repairs can be done without complex technical skills.
Since its operation, the equipment has helped local processing sites achieve “harvesting and processing on the same day,” effectively reducing the loss of fresh cassava due to deterioration during storage. This has brought real benefits to both local farmers and enterprises.

Looking Ahead: Empowering Global Agricultural Development

This cooperation is another practice of our concept—“Empowering Agriculture with Technology.” In the future, we will continue to focus on the actual needs of the global agricultural industry, develop processing equipment that fits different regions and scenarios, and use reliable technology and services to help the agricultural sector in more countries and regions achieve high-quality development.
